Behaviour and socialisation

Puppies commence the Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) aka "Super Dog Program" from Day 3 after birth until Day 16, in an effort to provide puppies with beneficial development. ENS has been around for decades, and has been proven to be beneficial in these five ways: Improved cardiovascular performance (heart rate)…

Health

From birth, I weigh the puppies daily for the first week, then weekly to ensure healthy weight gain. Optimal nutrition is provided to all of my dogs before, during and after whelping, and rearing. They are fed premium dry kibble (Meals For Mutts, Hypro Premium), along with bones and raw food (BARF). My puppies…

About the Breeder

A little about us

You'll find beautiful purebred dogs with excellent temperament, conformation and health in my breeding program. I aim to produce happy, well socialised puppies that all families can enjoy if they so choose to bless their lives with a Miniature Dachshund.

Why we got involved in breeding

I'm in the strong belief the first and foremost reason is to strive to bettering the breed - my aim is to produce dogs with good conformation, and health (genetically and physically) that have well balanced temperaments, suited to all types of homes.

Our special touch

My Dachshund breeding pairs are DNA tested for genetic disease including Sarcoglycan Deficient Muscular Dystrophy (SDMD), as well as a full colour panel (which includes Merle), tested through the genetic companies advised by Mary Langevin's research. The genetic testing company of choice is UC Davies and Paw Prints…
