At Mightyburns Bulls, we raise exceptional French Bulldogs in a loving and caring environment. Dedicated to following a responsible breeding program by keeping our health testing standards high, to produce animals who are healthy and happy for when they find their new homes.

Mightyburns Bulls is very proud to announce that we have joined the Master Dog Breeders and Associates DVL2 elimination program!! We will be working together with the MDBA and a handful of other like minded breeders to eliminate the screw tail gene (DVL2).

This is part of the MDBA’s genetic action plan for Brachycephalic Breeds which is going to be of huge benefit to the future of the French Bulldog. The DVL2 gene doesn’t only affect the tail and spine, there are so many other benefits that will come from eliminating this gene. 
The main goal and vision for our breeding programme has always - and will always be focused around the health of our dogs and the dogs that we produce. We will have some DVL2 cleared dogs available in the near future, where we will be able to guarantee ZERO Hemivertibre in those dogs! 

ALL of our breeding dogs are also negative/ clear/ unaffected of the ADAMTS3 (Airways Oedema) gene. The gene that contributes to the breathing issues that cause swelling (Oedema) in their airways. We are also working on increasing CFR (Cranio Facial Ratio). 

Head over to our upcoming litters tab to see our planned DVL2 elimination litters! There is a 33% chance to pass on only 1 copy of DVL2 in those litters and the rest of the pups will also be incredibly healthy due to the fantacstic health of both their parents!
