Wow - what a great night!

I had such a wonderful time and really enjoyed meeting people - the absolute standouts for me were Lesley & Sabina - wow Sabina - you are an amazing lady! Didn't know you before the night but truly felt you were 100% deserving of your award. Still wish I could be doing what you're doing with the Fauves in England!!!

A big thank you to the MDBA and everyone involved with organising it. A weekend away from kids and rescue is a real treat and my husband and I took full advantage of it!!!

When we got home and told my parents we'd won my Dad had shed a proud tear - it was very nice especially considering that they originally thought I was nuts starting rescue!

Im still grasping for words to say about how you guys made me feel.
For now Thank you will have to suffice but Im truly sincere when I say nothing would have ever happened it it werent for the fact that Jim , Lesley Stewart and Lesley levins hadnt believed in what we were doing every bit as much as I did.
The fact that the awrds evening once a year is giving us a reason to get you all togther is awesome and what an honour it is to meet you all in the flesh and celebrate what we all have in common. Our dogs.

Oh good, you made it home safe and sound, Julie. I've been worried sick

I had an absolutely BRILLIANT time, as I knew I would, and I am now paying for it today. I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that next year's will be triple the size again 8) It was certainly a very well spaced evening that ran like clockwork - hardly surprising with our resident event organiser :D Everyone involved did a sterling job.

Can't wait until next year so we can do it all again 8) Great to see some of my very favourite people again, and put a few more faces to names as well :D
Did you hear about the insomniac athiest dyslexic? He was awake all night wondering if there really is a Dog.
