Re the pet owner assignments, is there recommended reading/videos etc that ppl can look at first to gain some more knowledge? I could write lots about my philosophies and observations re behaviour and stuff but that doesn't mean it has any merit or is based on any legitimate knowledge. (not saying this is the case for me but it could be,.. lol)

Is one of the reasons behind this program to get info on what pet owners currently know/believe etc in order to develop more training programs? I really want to get into behaviour issues more but I don't want to do it as a potential trainer (which seems to be the focus of courses out there that I know of - eg Delta, NDTF) but as a pet owner. But then maybe most pet owners aren't interested in behaviour... or not in the way I am.

sorry - am just having a ramble.. lol

These are all mainly just good fun. Its all about you and your own dogs . They make you notice things you take for granted and they are designed to give you more insight into whats going on. The free course is available for you to have a look in the members section - very easy , very laid back - no wrong answers just helping you to bond and give you something structured for a minute to do with your dogs. For the questions that need a bit of research there's stuff everywhere to help you on the net and it doesnt require full on put yourself out stuff . It just helps you to see options and make educated decisions and be able to eplain whyy you chose one method of training [ for example ] over any other.

We're hoping that in the not too distant future these certificates will count toward evidence of your committment to being a responsible dog owner with other orgs and state governments but we need more people to have a go at it first and attain the certificate.
We're always here to give you a hand and point you toward articles etc.

Ok cool - I'm currently madly doing assignments for a HR course at work but I will definitely work on some of the questions soon. More things to make me think! sigh. lol

More likely just a temporary glitch in the net itself.
Heres a direct link.
Should work.

Oh dear...such a complicated error message.
Whatever could the problem be?

Simple answer actually.
It means your webmaster is an idiot and forgot to define a filename.
Oops...Sorry.

All fixed.
